City made it two wins out two with a 2-1 win over local Screwfix Premier Division side Team Bath. It was another good workout for City as the defence, in particular, played well, with Colin Towler and Iain Harvey building a good understanding, before the latter was forced off with a back-injury. At the other end of the pitch City had gone close on a couple of occasions as Paul Milsom proved a handful for the Team Bath back-line before they opened the scoring after 28 minutes. Gary Powell made ground down the left flank and his cross was headed home by Jamie Gosling. The game did threaten to boil over on a couple of occasions, with the referee forced to 'sin-bin' City's Milsom and, in the second half, Team-Bath coach Tisdale.

The second period saw City maintain the upper hand and they got their second goal with 14 minutes remaining. A deep centre by Cleverley was headed down by Towler and Sam Allison pounced to fire home his fifth goal in just two friendlies. As with City's first friendly against Andover on Saturday they were denied a clean-sheet when the visitors scored in the closing seconds. This time the goal came from the penalty spot, ex-City player Fidell Richards converting after Mark Hervin had been penalised.
